Planetary Ball Mill HMKMill 1901 is a Fritsch type planetary ball mill designed and manufactured for requirement of fine milling industry.It integrates all traditional mixing and size reduction process and at the same time HMKMill 1901 planetary ball mill uses high centrifugal forces to generate high pulverization energy. It works efficiently and takes very short milling time. HMKMill 1901 Planetary Ball Mill is a convenient benchtop ball mill for size reduction and mixing purpose.Materials are milled in max 4 grinding stations.

The HMKMill 1901 is a benchtop model with 4 stations. It is equipped with 4 jars, 2 x 100 or 125 mL and 2 x 50 mL.

  • Planetary ball mill has four ball grinding tanks installed on one turntable. When the turntable rotates, the tank axis makes planetary movements, the balls and samples inside the tanks are impacted strongly in high speed movement, and samples are eventually ground into powder. Various kinds of different materials can be ground by the mill with dry or wet method. The size of ground powder can be reduced to as small as 0.1 micrometer.
  • The main disc is driven by a motor, the motor rotates and drives the disc rotates. There are four milling pots fixed on the main disc, they are under rotation and revolution at the same time. There are milling balls inside the milling pots and mill the sample to powder.
